Hi! My name is Rachel and I’m the founder & designer of Mllnnx Studio. My background is in the art world. I have a degree in Art History and spent the beginning part of my career in museums surrounded by beautiful art. Working on national campaigns features some of the art worlds premiere artists, planning the events at the museum, like the “All Night Party” which incorporated all the senses in an immersive art experience for over 100,000 attendees, to the grand open of a new wing of the museum. After almost decade in the museum world surrounded by artists I started to create my own artworks. I realized how satisfying the ability to visualize an artwork in your mind and then working with my hands to create that art. When the time came for me to start my family I shifted my need to be around beautiful things to event planning; creating curated and boutique events for personal and corporate clients. Then one day one the guests at one of my events said, “Have you ever thought of doing interiors?” And the rest as they say is history...

I believe that as a designer it’s important to listen to your clients and incorporate the things that are important to them; whether it be an heirloom piece of furniture or a sentimental piece of child’s artwork. I also believe that a space should be truly livable, while the glossy photos in magazines (or on social media) are inspiring it’s not how we live everyday. Your home should feel inviting, comfortable, and be a reflection of you. I love to create spaces that when you’re in them they feel like that first sip a glass of rose on a hot summer day, brushing of the sand from your feet, and make it easy for you to always say “just come on over.” Organized, easy, satisfying, and well…beautiful.
